Erickson-Hall provided Construction Management services for the construction of the new 16,274 SF San Bernardino Fire Station No. 172 housing 1 paramedic engine, staff capacity of 6, one reserve engine, 2 engine bays two apparatus deep, a turnout washer, and the addition of a 4,297 SF San Bernardino County Sheriff Department substation. The scope of work included one shared conference room and public restrooms between these two areas. The sub-station houses offices, a briefing room with several workstations, soft and hard interview rooms, a kitchenette/break room, men’s and women’s locker rooms, a small reception entry, and a covered carport. The Fire Station portion is a replacement for the oldest Fire Station in the city, previously built in 1954.
