Perris, CA – Erickson-Hall Construction Co., in collaboration with Val Verde Unified School District, is proud to announce the completion of its new Central Kitchen. Erickson-Hall leaders, District officials, school staff and community members gathered to celebrate this milestone. This project consisted of constructing a brand-new, 19,400-square-foot kitchen facility to serve all the schools in the district. The facility is now fully operational and serving the community.

“We are thrilled about our new central kitchen, which has significantly improved our District’s ability to provide nutritious, high-quality food to our students and support their learning and well-being,” said Dr. Gordon Amerson, Superintendent of Val Verde Unified School District. “We were proud to partner with Erickson-Hall on this critical facility and appreciated their team’s dedication to delivering an excellent result that will benefit our community for years to come.”

The District’s kitchen facility features premium equipment, packaging facilities, depressed freezers and forklift-accessible walk-in coolers. The space also includes amenities such as administration offices, a break room and restroom facilities. A double-bay loading dock accommodates semi-trucks and box trucks, plus it houses an emergency backup generator for critical operations.

“We were extremely proud to deliver a cutting-edge kitchen facility for Val Verde Unified School District that enables them to provide the best possible food services to their students,” said Erickson-Hall President Mat Gates. “This completed project represents our commitment to building infrastructure that enhances educational services and benefits communities.”
