San Diego, CA — On Sept. 5, Erickson-Hall Construction Co., in partnership with Del Mar Union School District, showcased a milestone achievement, celebrating the complete modernization of the Del Mar Hills Academy campus. The newly developed campus is a comprehensive transformation that offers a dynamic environment conducive to educational learning and community engagement.

“Del Mar Union School District is thrilled to unveil our newly renovated Del Mar Hills Academy campus. These vital facility upgrades demonstrate our commitment to providing a space that’s modern, innovative and supportive of academic growth,” said Chris Delehanty, Assistant Superintendent of Business Services. “Thank you to Erickson-Hall for their leadership and collaboration on this project. Their dedication and expertise have helped transform our campus to not only benefit our students and faculty, but strengthen our entire community.”

The ambitious project demonstrated Erickson-Hall’s skill in complex educational renovations, by completely reimagining a 44,000 square-foot campus while maintaining continuous school operations. The structure, originally built in the 1970s, was stripped of all finishes. The renovation included significant structural upgrades to the interior and exterior of the building, new site work, upgraded play structures and the removal of portables from the campus.

“The Del Mar Hills Academy transformation represents everything Erickson-Hall stands for, taking on complex challenges and delivering results that impact communities,” said Mat Gates, President of Erickson-Hall. “We are honored to partner with Del Mar Union School District to create a campus that will empower students, benefit educators and positively impact the entire community for generations to come.”

Unique undertakings like this project spotlight Erickson-Hall’s diverse skill set. As technological progress is made across all disciplines, groups and organizations are rethinking how they can make significant change. These desires for change reshape their environment and call for people capable of turning those ideas into reality. For individuals looking to reimagine what their facilities can do, Erickson-Hall is at the helm of making those goals achievable.
