Designed for students who excel in virtual learning environments, the Academy of Innovation provides remote educational opportunities through creative, student-centered learning. These renovations have elevated the school environment to nurture personalized learning journeys, encourage problem-solving and expand functional spaces for students and staff.
“We’re thrilled to introduce this newly renovated,cutting-edge space to our students”, said Jacquelyn Roberts, Construction Director of Facilities. “By investing in modern, student-driven learning environments, we are equipping the next generation with the tools to excel and reach their full potential. Erickson-Hall has seamlessly aligned our vision with their expertise in creating functional, innovative facilities that empower students to explore unlimited educational possibilities, making this partnership invaluable.”
The $5.2 million project included the installation of three portable buildings to the existing site, expanding the campus’s capacity to support a larger student population. Nine existing classrooms were upgraded to include brand-new office spaces, and utilities were redirected to support the installation of an upgraded marquee for the campus. The campus’s appearance was enhanced through improvements to walkways, utilities and landscaping throughout the entire site.
Mat Gates, President of Erickson-Hall Construction Company, expressed excitement over the opportunities these improvements will bring to both students and the broader Riverside County community. “It’s been a privilege to bring this cutting-edge campus to life,” said Gates. “Our partnership with Corona-Norco Unified School District reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional spaces that meet the current and long-term needs of students, strengthening the school’s role in serving the entire community.”
