San Diego, CA – Erickson-Hall Construction Co., in partnership with Sweetwater Union High School District, is excited to announce the groundbreaking of a transformative renovation project at Mar Vista Academy. This project includes the construction of two new state-of-the-art academic buildings and extensive campus improvements, enhancing learning environments for students and staff.
A groundbreaking ceremony for the project will take place on Tuesday, February 11, bringing together Erickson-Hall leaders, District officials, school staff and community members to celebrate the milestone.

The project, in all, will deliver 13,522-square-feet in new facilities. Key elements of the renovation include:
- A New Administration and Student Support Building: Centralizing essential services, including counseling, special education and administrative offices, to streamline operations and student accessibility.
- A Multi-Purpose Center: Providing flexible space for a variety of student activities, events and programs.
- Campus Redesigns: A reimagined student quad and new campus entrance to improve aesthetics, security and functionality.
- ADA Upgrades: Accessible parking and pathways to ensure an inclusive environment for all students, staff and visitors.
