Fullerton, CA — Erickson-Hall Construction Co. has proudly partnered with Fullerton Union High School to deliver a new athletics project via their Lease-Leaseback services. The addition of the athletics facilities will spark motivation and provide a modern, dynamic space for young athletes.
At approximately 33,270-square-feet, the Erickson-Hall project centers on the building of a two-story athletic building. The first floor will include locker rooms, team rooms, training and support spaces, while the second floor will feature classrooms, offices and activity spaces.
“We are committed to providing students with the tools that will enable them to succeed on and off the field,” said Vince Madsen, Director of Facilities and M&O. “These comprehensive upgrades are just one step toward bettering the educational and athletic experiences for our students.”
The transformative endeavor calls for demolition and reconstruction of the campus’s northern parking lot. The newly renovated lot will include electrical vehicle charging stations, Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant parking spaces, a new driveway, bicycle parking and revamped pedestrian walkways. Additional improvements include five new tennis courts and landscaped areas surrounded by fencing, lighting, bike racks and other site improvements.
The project will also include a restroom building and substantial improvements to the softball fields and baseball field. Additionally, sports lighting will be installed into the baseball field to welcome students for evening practices. The planned upgrades are designed to enhance the school’s athletic and educational spaces to further support student-athletes with state-of-the-art amenities.
