San Diego, CA – On Monday, April 27, Erickson-Hall Construction Co. joined the City of Vista to celebrate the grand opening of Vista Fire Station No. 3. The ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the successful completion of a comprehensive undertaking, bringing together Erickson-Hall leaders, fire officials and community members.
Fire Station No. 3 was modernized through a multi-phase project to enhance community safety. Key phases of the project included the demolition of the existing 5,000 SF station, the design of a new state-of-the-art facility and the refurbishment of a temporary site to ensure uninterrupted emergency services.
As part of the facility renovation, Fire Station No. 3 was reoriented 90 degrees from the previous station, establishing a new primary access point and address on E. Vista Way. To ensure long-term site durability, the site was also elevated to improve drainage.
“We are incredibly proud to deliver this cutting-edge project that will streamline the department’s daily operations and serve as a cornerstone of the Vista community,” said Mat Gates, President of Erickson-Hall Construction Co. “Our partnership with the City of Vista reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure that supports first responders and the neighborhoods they protect.”
