Corona, CA – Erickson-Hall Construction Co., in partnership with Corona-Norco Unified School District (CNUSD), is excited to announce the groundbreaking of a dedicated campus to support the Academy of Innovation, the district’s fully virtual academy. Located on the existing Citrus Hills Intermediate School grounds, the new facility will serve as a centralized hub for school offices, ensuring seamless support for students, families and staff in the online learning community.

“We are proud to take this next step in supporting the Academy of Innovation’s mission to provide high-quality, flexible education to our students,” said Dr. Sam Buenrostro, Superintendent of the Corona-Norco Unified School District. “This new administrative campus will allow our staff to collaborate more effectively, enhance student services and strengthen connections with families in our virtual learning environment.”

The project includes the installation of three new portable buildings and the renovation of nine existing classrooms to create office spaces within those classrooms. Additional site improvements include utility upgrades, new walkways, landscaping enhancements and the installation of a new marquee. These upgrades will ensure the administrative team has the resources needed to support the Academy of Innovation’s growing student population.

“Erickson-Hall is honored to partner with CNUSD on this critical project,” said Mat Gates, President of Erickson-Hall Construction Co. “This new campus will serve as a foundation for the Academy of Innovation’s success, ensuring staff have the facilities and tools to support students in their virtual learning journeys.”
