Beverly Hills, CA – Erickson-Hall Construction Co., in partnership with the Beverly Hills Unified School District (BHUSD), is proud to announce the groundbreaking of the new Upper Athletic Fields at Beverly Hills High School. This highly-anticipated project will transform the school’s recreation facilities, supporting athletic excellence and fostering community spirit.
“These new athletic facilities represent a significant investment in our Beverly Hills High School students and the broader community,” said Will Karrat, Executive Director of Construction Services at Beverly Hills Unified School District. “We are excited to elevate our athletic programs to new heights and are grateful to partner with Erickson-Hall. Their expertise in building exceptional recreation spaces combined with our shared vision for athletic development and educational excellence has made this project possible.”
Expected to be completed by November 2025, the project scope includes the design and construction of tennis courts, a softball field, a permanent modular restroom building, a retaining wall, athletic field lighting and a plaza seating area. Designed for an inclusive spectator experience, the plaza construction will consist of new accessible ramps, landscaped areas, paved surfaces and concrete seating. The space will also include new bleachers, a scoreboard and an announcer’s booth.
