Indio, CA — On Wednesday, Sept. 2, Erickson-Hall Construction Co., in partnership with Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE), gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the agency’s new conference center and administrative building.
The ceremony marked the delivery of a modernized facility designed to further support RCOE’s long-term mission of serving students, educators and school districts throughout the greater Coachella Valley.
“We couldn’t be prouder of our collaboration with Erickson-Hall to create this state-of-the-art facility to serve families and community partners from the greater Coachella Valley and beyond,” said Matt Snellings, Executive Director of Operational Support Services. “From the early conversations focused on design concepts to the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the project has been an awesome experience. We’re grateful for our long-standing partnership with Erickson-Hall, and it’s rewarding knowing that our combined efforts on this project will support the community for decades to come.”
The 33,000 square-foot expansion includes 22 office spaces, an open workspace for 30 staff members and a warehouse. Outdoor expansion has an additional 290 parking spots, a walking trail around the facility and a conference center complete with skyfold walls.
The RCOE Conference Center will serve as a collaborative hub for student competitions, professional development training, conferences and events. The new facility expands RCOE’s capacity to support local students and modern learning programs. Faculty and students will be able to utilize various services through modern, efficient spaces that foster innovation and collaboration.
