Erickson-Hall Construction Co. in partnership with Sweetwater Union High School District, celebrated the completion of major campus improvements at Mar Vista Academy with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Aug. 6. The event marked the official opening of two new state-of-the-art facilities totaling 13,522 square feet, delivered alongside extensive outdoor infrastructure upgrades.
Housing administration, counseling, and special education classrooms, the first completed facility significantly expands space for students and faculty. The second building provides a flexible, multipurpose space for a wide variety of school events. Additional sitework on the campus includes improvements to the quad, a brand new school entry and the removal of existing relocatables.
These campus improvements are an investment for the future of Mar Vista Academy and the surrounding community. With the creation of safe, modern learning spaces, the project supports and promotes student success and will serve generations of Mar Vista families, faculty and staff.
“It’s been a privilege to work with Mar Vista Academy on this campus transformation,” said Mat Gates, President of Erickson-Hall Construction Co. “From the initial planning stages to its completion, our shared focus was on delivering a campus centered on supporting students and creating lasting opportunities.”
