McKinley Elementary School project involved a campus wide modernization of classrooms and restroom upgrades, new HVAC systems and exterior site improvements. The scope of work for this modernization project involved partial demolition of the walls, ceilings and restrooms; installation of new finishes including new flooring, suspended acoustical ceilings, VRF systems, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures and accessories, tack and marker boards, windows, cabinetry, and state of the art A/V & active learning systems. In addition to the modernization of the classrooms, the project included upgrading the library and auditorium with state of the art audio & visual systems. Kitchen and cafeteria upgrades that included, new flooring, ceilings, windows, and HVAC systems. The administration offices received new cabinetry, upgraded security systems that included cameras, monitors, and on-command keyless entry for safe entry to the school while classes are in session. The exterior improvements involved new parking lot with a student drop off zone and site accessibility upgrades which include single point of access entries.
